Sticky Streaks
What we keep
Short version: an id, the names you type, your taps, an order if you buy stickers, and your plan if you have Super. The website counts its visits, without cookies. No advertising, nothing that follows you around the web, nothing sold to anybody.
What we store
An anonymous account id, the word "ios" or "web" for what you opened us on, and the date it was made. We don't ask for an email to use the app.
If you use Sign in with Apple, we store the identifier Apple gives us for you and nothing else. Not your email, not your name, even when Apple offers them.
Your household's name and time zone. The name and color you pick for yourself, and the same for anyone else in the household.
Each sticker's name and what it is for. Each tap: when it happened, which day and part of day that was where you live, which sticker, which person, whether it came from the app, a tag or the web, and a number if the sticker counts things.
A push token for each device that turns notifications on, and a small log of which notifications were sent so you don't get the same one twice.
If you order stickers: what you ordered, what it cost, and the name, email address and postal address Stripe collects at the checkout, plus Stripe's reference for the payment. Card numbers never reach our server.
Super
If you subscribe to Super in the app, we store the App Store's transaction ids for it, which plan it is, when it renews or ends, whether it's set to renew, and whether it's in its free trial. That's how we know who has Super.
We never see or store payment details. Apple handles the subscription, and Stripe handles the shop.
What we don't store
No advertising identifiers, nothing that follows you from site to site, and no cookies beyond the one that keeps you signed in on the web.
Your network address is used for a moment to slow down abuse. It's never written to the database.
Counting visits to the website
The website counts its visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, so we can see which pages people read. It notes the page, the site that sent you here, your country, your browser, operating system and kind of device, and how quickly the page loaded. We only ever see totals.
It sets no cookies, keeps nothing on your device, and doesn't use your network address or your browser to recognize you from one visit to the next.
It runs on the public pages: home, support, terms, this page, and the page you see after checkout. A sticker's page and an invite link aren't counted, and the app's own screens don't send any of this.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare hosts the server and the database, and counts visits to the website. Stripe takes the payment if you buy something. Apple handles Super subscriptions and carries push notifications to your phone. Nobody else, and none of them are given anything to sell.
Deleting everything
In the app, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete my data. It removes your account, your devices, and any household where you are the only person left, including its taps. Where other people share the household, their taps stay and yours are shown as "Former member" so the sheet still makes sense.
Or email hello@stickystreaks.com and we'll do it for you.
Deleting your data doesn't stop Apple billing. If you subscribe to Super, cancel it first in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
Orders are kept after that, because a receipt for money that changed hands has to be kept.
Children
Sticky Streaks is made for general use, not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly keep an account for one.
